LUX - game projection in urban space

2013-02-15

A joyful videogame with generative realtime visuals, projected in public space, open-for-all and free-to-play!

LUX turned urban space into a unique contemporary playground. We projected an easy-to-play video game onto the facade of the Literaturhaus in Stuttgart, Germany. The game design is based on the architecture with the inner theme reflecting the different sectors of the building. Open to the public, anyone crossing the place could see the game in action and play it for free.

The combination of projection mapping and a video game reflecting the meaning of the building creates a one-of-a-kind experience.

Passers-by were impressed by the interactivity and impressive visual shape of LUX. It takes you on an immersive journey which makes you forget about your surroundings.
